Allocco
An exciting nighttime adventure in the Ligurian mountains, in Gouta. Using my TASCAM DR-44WL recorder and DODOTRONIC parabolic microphone, I captured the sounds of an atmosphere that felt relaxing at times and unsettling at others. While it was still dark, I heard one sound in particular: the call of a tawny owl. This was, of course, before dawn—the moment when the birds begin their natural symphony.
